A film about new beginnings

When Hapa teen, Lily, is uprooted from her life in California and moves to Kauai, she discovers the dark side of “paradise” that can be traced back to its colonized history. In an effort to understand her place on the island, Lily must learn how to become a mindful settler while tackling the growing pains of teenagehood.
